Kajian Teologis Tentang Mujizat dan Ketaatan Berdasarkan 2 Raja-Raja 7:1-2
Abstract
This study aims to demonstrate that miracles do not contradict natural laws but instead operate in harmony with them through divine intervention prompted by obedience to God’s Word. The study begins with a conceptual analysis of miracles from various academic sources to establish an objective theoretical foundation. Subsequently, the interaction between miracles and natural laws is analyzed using C.S. Lewis’s approach, focusing on the argument that miracles function within the framework of natural laws through the role of obedience. A hermeneutical approach is applied to 2 Kings 7:1–2 using lexicographical and syntactical methods to uncover the meaning of the text within its historical and grammatical contexts. The findings reveal that miracles, while seemingly impossible by natural laws, can occur through divine intervention, with obedience serving as the primary catalyst. Additionally, insights from Stanley Milgram’s social psychology research are incorporated to analyze factors influencing obedience, offering practical perspectives on developing patterns of compliance in daily life. This study concludes that obedience to God’s Word is a critical factor in enabling miracles and contributes to a deeper theological and practical understanding of the relationship between obedience, natural laws, and miracles through divine intervention.
Abstrak:
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan bahwa mukjizat tidak bertentangan dengan hukum alam, melainkan berjalan selaras melalui intervensi Allah yang dipicu oleh ketaatan kepada Firman-Nya. Kajian ini diawali dengan analisis konseptual mukjizat dari berbagai literatur akademis untuk memperoleh landasan teoritis yang objektif. Selanjutnya, hubungan antara mukjizat dan hukum alam dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan C.S. Lewis, dengan fokus pada argumen bahwa mukjizat bekerja dalam kerangka hukum alam melalui peran ketaatan. Pendekatan hermeneutik diterapkan pada 2 Raja-raja 7:1-2 dengan menggunakan metode leksikografis dan sintaksis untuk menggali makna teks secara historis dan gramatikal. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa mukjizat, yang secara alami tampak mustahil, tetap dapat terjadi melalui intervensi Allah, dengan ketaatan sebagai faktor penggerak utama. Perspektif psikologi sosial dari penelitian Stanley Milgram juga diintegrasikan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi ketaatan, memberikan wawasan tambahan terkait pembentukan pola ketaatan dalam kehidupan praktis. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa ketaatan terhadap Firman Tuhan merupakan elemen krusial dalam membuka ruang bagi mukjizat sekaligus memperkaya pemahaman teologis dan praktis tentang hubungan antara ketaatan, hukum alam, dan mukjizat melalui intervensi ilahi.
