Author Guidelines
DEAR ALL AUTHORS. Before submitting your manuscript to the SABDA journal, study and read the detailed writing rules and scope, and use the template available on the OJS website.
1. Authors must first register by clicking this REGISTER section.
2. The submitted article has not been published and is not under consideration by any other journal.
3. The title is written in Indonesian or English with Book Antiqua font, 14 pt, bold, and a maximum of 12-14 words.
4. The article is accompanied by the full name of the author (12pt font), the name of the institution (11pt font), and the email of the main correspondent (11pt font). 5. The abstract is written in Indonesian and English using Book Antiqua font size 11, single-spaced, and with a maximum text length of 150 words, accompanied by a maximum of
5 keywords.
The abstract should include the fundamental background of the topic, the formulation of the main research question, the methods used, the research findings, and the conclusion elements. Make it no more than 150 words.
6. The introduction section consists of the background of the problem, literature review, significance of the topic, formulation of the problem, urgency of the study, and the purpose of writing. This introduction section is written in Book Antiqua font, 12pt. The introduction section is 750-900 words.
7. The methods section includes the type of method used, sources and validity of the data, analysis process, and data presentation. Written descriptively in Book Antiqua font, 12pt, maximum 450 words.
8. In the results and discussion section, write the research findings and discussion. Can be presented in several subsections. The author can present the data descriptively or provide calculation tables. Written descriptively in Book Antiqua font, 12pt, with a minimum of 4000 words and a maximum of 5500 words. For articles from quantitative research or Classroom Action Research (CAR), the research results are presented in the results section. Presentation can be accompanied by tables, images, and graphs. For articles from qualitative research (such as research in the fields of biblical studies, history, library research, and the like), the results and discussion sections can be presented in the form of subtopic titles according to the research findings. Present descriptively, not numerically, and it can be accompanied by tables, images, and graphs. For articles from quantitative research, the discussion section is presented in parts. Presented descriptively, and the discussion between results and theory can highlight aspects of novelty.
9. In the conclusion section, write the conclusion descriptively. Written descriptively in Book Antiqua font, 12pt.
10. If the author will present images, tables, graphs, then the format is that the number and title of the image, table, graph precede the image, table, graph.
11. Overall, the manuscript submitted should not be less than 6,500 words and not more than 7,000 words. Overall, the manuscript submitted should not be less than 65.00 words and not more than 7,000 words. The manuscript is typed on A4 paper size with 1.25 spacing, margins following the format: top 3cm; bottom 2.5cm; left 2.5cm; right 2.5cm; header and footer 2cm.
12. The writing of the article must reference sources from journals for 75% of the total references. Book references are allowed for 25% of the total references, sourced from classical theology books or those published more than 10 years ago.
13. Citation writing refers to the American Psychological Association 6th edition model. A clearer example can be seen in the template.
14. The author is not allowed to withdraw the manuscript before receiving confirmation from the chief editor and before the 3-month period from the initial submission date.
